I am trying to send out this weeks stuff and I can't get Stamps.com to let me by postage for the last two days. Anyone else having a problem? It keeps telling me to check my emails for failure reasons but they don't send me any emails. I wrote to them but they never answer the questions I write to them. They will address one and act like the other question didn't exist.

I bought postage last night. The e-mail never arrived, but the postage ended up in my account. I know from past experience that buying stamps at peak hours (evenings and weekends) makes for difficulty in getting quick approval from the credit card companies, but I've always gotten the postage.

Since January we have tried to cancel the account to no avail and now they double charged us last month so owe us about $100 -

Be very careful. No response to e-mails or calls.

These are exactly the reasons I dumped them months ago. The quality of service has become a huge problem especially if someone needs a customer service issue answered or tries to cancel. I recently switched to endicia.com and am very happy with the service plus Delivery Confirmation on Priority Mail is free and they support just about anything you can print on.

I used stamps.com for over a year, and suddenly they can't process my credit card anymore? Not due to overlimit, and in fact we could never reach a conclusion as to why the CC would not work, so I gave another card number and it worked. Then they raised their monthly service charge percentage.......grrr! Not to mention their customer service which lacks majorly. I hope I don't have the billing nightmares some people report here.

I switched to Endicia. Their service is far superior in price and features! Check em' out.

I still take my 40+ packages to the post office 2 days a week, wait in line for 30-45 minutes and another 20-30 minutes at the window and pay for delivery confirmation on every package! WHY? Because I have lots of questions about endicia.com .

Can those of you that use it please email me?

Where and how much do you pay for the forms?
If it is a repeat customer does it store the info from the first time?
Do you find it time consuming?

Please tell me everything a first time user of electronic postage wish they new.

Email me at [email protected]

Thanks for your time!

RichieRich:

There is a thread running right now at:

http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/read.html?num=2&thread=368950

The president of endicia Harry Whitehouse regularly posts there answering all kinds of questions.

Where and how much do you pay for the forms?

What forms are you talking about? You don't have to buy any forms to use PCPostage.

If it is a repeat customer does it store the info from the first time?

For such occasions I go into the Printed Postage Report in the software and double click on the postage I printed for that person. Just highlight the persons name and copy. The software will then pick up the address and place it on the label to be printed.

Do you find it time consuming?

It saves me a lot of time. This is from a person who has used every PCPostage product. I was happy with Stamps.com until they got greedy and then stopped providing any customer service. Of all the products out there Endicia.com has the most flexible software and is a real time saver to me.

Plus... You can't beat getting FREE Delivery Confirmation on your Priority Mail and 12 cent DC on Standard Mail items.
