Could someone tell me the best way to clean old 45 records. I have a group and they look like they need to be cleaned but I don't want to do any damage to them.

Radio Shack should still carry the cleaning fluid. There is also a special tool you use - they should have one, too. (Sorry I don't remember what they are called.) Put the cleaner on the felt-like part of the tool, then gently clean by going along the grooves the entire circle of the record, using a back and forth motion, kinda like a chain stitch. It is best if you have a turntable you can put it on to clean - safer for the second side that way.
