I run auctions for computer equipment and similar items. I have found that recently 90% of all my payments have come through PayPal, and have only once had an account restriction problem.

I have a premiere account, and also take full use of my ATM card. It is the fastest way to get payment, while Money Orders can take a week or more to arrive, and checks can take a month to clear.

With paypal, I get payment immediately after auction end, not having to wait weeks, and the high bidder gets their item very quickly, feedback is exchanged, and all transactions are finished within 2 - 3 days, which makes life easier.

Thus I have to ask, Will eBay allow me to state I only accept PayPal? Will it enforce it if I file an FVF because people refuse to pay via PayPal? Will it retract a negative if someone who doesn't read claims that I did not allow them to complete the transaction?

Ebay will allow you to accept payment in any manner you choose. But, you might want to consider offering Billpoint as an option, too.

Just remember, by limiting how someone can pay, you are excluding those who choose to not pay that way.

Keep it the way you have it, and you'll keep those other 10% of your bids.

Well, those other ten percent aren't worth the hassle of waiting a week for payment and a week or two more for feedback.

Gee, I don't think I could afford to alienate 10% of my customers, and feedback? well it's nice, but if it doesn't come, I don't sweat it.

I recently experimented with electronic payments only and found that a lot of buyers really don't care what you put in your TOS. In fact I had one buyer inform me that I couldn't refuse to except money orders, and that his payment would arrive on time. Guess what, it arrived a week late because he didn't even mail it until after the due date (which is why I don't like payments by mail). I went back to PP, BP, Checks, MO, etc., but plan on being much stricter about the due dates and filing the NPBA.

Well, I don't know how you got that money order, as I don't even see where the oppertunity to get your address comes up.

If someone refused to pay via Paypal, I would neg, file FVF, and relist.

Do you have any idea what it sounds like if you DON'T want some one who is sending you money to have a REAL address for you if they ask? I am certainly not saying you are scamming, but if a buyer asked for an address, and you wouldn't provide one (even more so with high priced computer equipment), the red flags would be popping up.
