HELP I have a box of Beanie babies to sell and I have no idea what "generations" mean. I feel from reading other sellers ads that it is probably the most important thing. HELP _ can someone explain generations to me?? Diane

I think I can help. The Beanie Mom site at http://www.beaniemom.com has links that tell you all about the different kinds of heart tags, and how they changed over the years. Each change is a "generation." Good luck!

Beanies are still selling, although the days of getting $850 for the American Trio (1996 Lefty, Righty, and Libearty) are over. When the fakes started turning up, the bottom fell out.
Anyway, you can still get a decent buck or two for certain ones. I collect the sit-up bears and often find myself contending with others for the high bids. The easy-to-find current ones, however, are barely getting a buck apiece.
Beanies have seen better days, for sure. So BEAGLEO, got any bears in that bunch?

A beanie thread?
You made my day!
Are you saying I can start listing them and move them?
I haven't even checked out the competition for about 6 months!
*might be a good summer afterall*
