I've noticed this little matter after seeing an auction I wanted to bid on (and hopefully be able to bid on.)

I checked the bidding history of one auction to see whom i'm up against. I noticed two bidders bids were canceled and here's where it get's fishy...

The first one has racked up a healthy ammount of Negatives (1 more till NARU.) The second bidder, however, has the 0 and obligatory sunglasses.

What struck me is that the 0 one is being accused of being the deadbeat by the seller, per info from another source. Basiclly, dumping the bad Id for a new one.

I did some checking, and their's some very striking differences between the two:

The deadbeat registered in the first week of April. The Newbie registered about two weeks ago.

The bidding history of the deadbeat circles around one particular item.

The Newbie bidded on two different items ( 5 for Item A and 2 for Item b), lost all the auctions, and went silent for a while till 3 days ago. A check of the items previously bidded on reveals Item A has nothing listed on eBay at this time. Item B, however, produces 47 auctions, many not even closely related to what they bidded on.

Right now, the Newbie is bidding on a few items that the Deadbeat got kicked off of (per the bidding history).

Somehow, i'm not seeing the whole picture here.

Is it pure coincidence?? Or something else??
