Just in case anyone hasn't downloaded ebud 2.73 yet, there are bugs in it. I show "no sale" where there are sales. When I refresh again, it shows a sale on the same item but doesn't retrieve any email address. Sent a support request in but no answer yet.

I had the same experiences you describe, but I think it was because eBay was down http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/read.html?num=2&thread=382745. My latest refresh on eBud brought them all back in where they were supposed to be.

Bluepaloma;
Sounds like I'm having the exact same problems as you;....it was ok and then not!
Here's what they said not long before noon on the update page:
Support Bulletins
Bulletin: 2.73 errors with bid prices and usernames
Date: 6/10/01 11:10:00 AM
Products: Auctiva Manager (eBud)
Some users are reporting that with 2.73 refreshes are working momentarily and then the new bid and usernames disappear and the bid amount is set back to $0.00
We are investigating. We have quite a few reports of this so PLEASE dont file any more support cases. Otherwise we‘ll be spending all our time answering cases and not finding the fix. We will report back here when we have more info.

Ok Bluepaloma, here's the latest news from Ebub........<p>
Ok, we‘ve got the price and email fields filling correctly. We are working on fixing the sorting and feedback now.
When eBay releases new code to their site they do so in stages. It usually takes anywhere from 2 days to a week before the changes are put onto 100% of their computers. This is normally why we do updates only after waiting several days.

What has happened is that we‘ve updated Auctiva Manager and for some people they are connecting to eBay servers with the old way of showing info, and the rest are connecting to the new way of showing the info on the servers that have been updated. Thus for some people it‘s working and some it‘s not. It all depends on which one you connect to at eBay which is completely random.

We‘ve made the code a bit more generic so it will work with both. And it should also be less susecptible to minor changes in the future as well.

We anticipate a 2.74 to be available in the next 4 hours.

HUH???????///!!!!!!!!!!!! Got that?

...a bit confusing. sounds like they are working on a "possible, partial fix". anyway, I feel for them in that they're obviously trying to do something about this but it's having an effect on my business. I guess we'll just have to wait for them.

I think part of the Ebud problem yesterday was because Ebay was up and down like a yoyo all day on Sunday. Ebud can't pull information from a down site.
