My guess is that Payingfast would only be used on foreign transactions. They charge 4.49 for $100 and send a traveller's check. They have a $75 maximum credit card payment.
C2it is credit card or bank account based. It is free for three months, thereafter there is a 1% charge to the buyer if a citibank card is used. C2it gives the buyer $10 when the first payment is made (which covers the first $1000 of payments after the trial period). Though the protection isnt stated very clearly on the site, I have had several discussions with C2it and I am satisfied that their protection is probably the best of any payment service, far better than a merchant account. More details are available on my site, the payment services ratings link. I'm sorry, but AW won't let me give the URL here.

I tried off and on all day to get parts of the Payingfast site to come up, but they were so slow that I gave up (guess they are sharing servers with Ebay!). I tried to email their customer service through their online request form and it got returned to me as being undeliverable. Not good when someone is trying to do some research on their company and what they offer. FAQs would not pull up, registration page would not pull up.
