I happened across a lot of really weird looking old Pyrex and metal laboratory equipment. After hours of searching I was able to identify a good bit of it, but can't figure out what the heck the rest of this stuff might be!
I noticed that a lot of folks put up auctions for this kind of stuff without knowing what they're selling...I suppose I could do that too but have a feeling I might do better if I could actually give the item its correct name, rather than calling it "weird glass trumpet-shaped thing" (for example). I have about 8 things I can't ID--Here are a couple and dc9 kindly fixed yet another. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
(Rats--didn't work. Maybe this will

The *s are for showing the methodology; without them, one gets the results.
To only link to the image (instead of displaying it here), replace the tag "img" with "url"
As to the equipment shown, I don't think I can hazard a guess on this one.

Oh, I am not dc9a320 anywhere except AW. Any others are not me.
Is eBay is changing from a world bazaar into a bizarre world?

If my rusty High School Chemistry Classes serve me right (Damn the fumes if I can't remember straight), the third one is a Thimble (forgot the rest of the name; flask or collector??). I remember using one to collect gasses from a candle into limewater.
The second one looks like a Test Tube Clamp. The left side (from my point of view)would be attached to a stand (a thin metal rod on a heavy metal base) while the test tube would be held in the other end. Usually, this attachment would've held a test tube in place while your heating the tube and contents or holding the test tube while something else was going on that was too risky with test tube tongs or your hands.
Maybe someone else would help me ID the stuff even more, as these look like lab equipment that I used in HS.
edited for a ID mistake.

The metal peice is an easy one but good luck on the glass tubing thingy...
The metal pc. is a connector to a large metal weighted base that will have a rod that runs straight up about 3 feet. The prongs hold a test tube or beaker and the other end attaches to the 3 ft. rod and it allows adjustment for hieght from a heating source, usually a bunsun burner which sits on the metal base below.
The glass piece would be experiment specific but what kind ???

1st Glass piece is used for condensation experiment heat solution in bulb and use closed end to see type gas formed could attach a tube to open end to collect precipitate. Looks like a piece used in making Methanphetamine (from my COPS viewing)
Test tube holder isn't very expensive glassware could be useful to a collector for display purposes, be sure to pack well old glassware can be very fragile. I doubt the glass would have much chemistry use since new items can be purchased relatively cheaply.

I have one of those metal thingies! Only the small part, with the 2 screws. I found it in a box of junk in an antique store in Ohio. Mine is painted black. Looks to be brass underneath the paint. I liked its shape but never knew what it was for. Would have never guessed a clamp for laboratory. Thanks for asking psyllie.
