I am trying desperately to list a couple of auctions that have multiple picture URL's in the description.

I have done this many times without a problem, but suddenly, I cannot get through to the preview page! Every time I try to proceed, I get a "this page does not exist" error page.

I don't know what's going on. I use Internet Explorer.

Any ideas?

Try using the old auction form.

http://cgi5.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ListItemForSaleShow&oldstyle=1&category=0

You will have to change the category number (last # in url) and refresh to get the correct category. And you will have to use the old category numbers to get it right!

ebay will continue to mess with their new listing page. Makes no sense to require all that activeX crap for their picture hosting selections when we use our oen ISP for hosting pictures.

Suggestion: Download Mr.Lister and use it to create and upload all of your listings. It faster, easier, and far fewer glitches than using the ebaY "Sell Your Item" form.

On top of that, you can upload your listings to ebay and preview them EXACTLY as they will appear when the listing goes live. Once uploaded, your listings will sit there waiting for you to activate them for up to 2 weeks. But the best part of all is the ease with which you can make changes and resubmit repeat listings. And Mr. Lister is completely free.

I am able to list through Netscape---which I HATE using because it is so sluggish.

WHY am I having this problem listing with a multiple URL description through Internet Explorer?????

i find netscape to be sluggish, too. i don't know why you're having trouble with i.e., but i do know i've read here numerous times about problems listing with i.e., and the workaround being using netscape to list. mostly likely ebay has gone and once again fixed something that weren't broke.

mr lister sounds very interesting. a possible solution for you? probably not available for the mac, so no good for me.

edited to add: my bet is it's related to the ipix addition on the sell form.
