The winner of my auction backed out. I offered it to the second highest bidder. She is interested and wants to pay by billpoint. How do I submit an invoice to the second highest bidder? Do I need to submit the invoice for her to pay? I have submitted this question to Billpoint but thought I may get a quicker answer here! I don't have the instant pay logo on my auction because of Paypal. Thanks so much for any help!!

Thats a no-no.. New rules, you can NEVER offer any non-sold item to any other bidders... EVEN if the high bidder can't/won't pay.
eBay wants you to relist so they can get the fees and ensure the buyer has protection.
I wouldn't get Billpoint involved with this as they *are* eBay.

When you file the NPB isn't there a choice that says something about sold for lesser amount? I thought you could offer it to the next bidder as long as you notified Ebay. If this is not the case then I will relist with a Buy it Now for her bid and tell her to bid on it. What a pain!! Thanks for you response.

I just received a message from Billpoint telling me how to send a general invoice. No mention of this not being allowed!
