I don't think you'll find many thieves using credit cards and going for items priced under $15 bucks. If you're uncomfortable with it hit 'decline' and request a money order, the call is yours alone.

I get these all the time. It just means that they are new and all of the processing has not been completed yet. I have never had one come back on me. If you were talking hundreds of dollars, I would be be leary; but, for under $15, I would accept it.
Just be sure you hit the "accept" button. I almost lost a payment one time because I forgot to do that and discovered it in my history about 1 week before it would have been canceled. You only have 30 days to accept, or the transaction is canceled.

i've gotten them before, also. wouldn't worry about it. the 'uncomfirmed address' is likely because the person has their credit card bills sent to another address, or perhaps they're not paying via cc? do get a d.c., if it makes you more comfortable. won't cover you as far as pp's 'sellers protection plan' goes because they've got an unconfirmed address, but you'll have some proof to the buyer you did ship, should something go awry.

I've had a few of those. The last one was for $360 with an accept or deny on it.
Scared me, but I sent it with signature confirmation on it.
But when you do accept, there is some warning that you are not protected under the Sellers Protection Policy or whatever that is, not sure there really is one, so this one has me a bit concerned.

* * * Even tho' I'm "verified" at PayPal, my payments always show as "unverified." Here's why.
My registered PayPal credit card is my _work_ card. I do this so that when PayPal screws it up one day (as I'm certain they will) it will not affect my more important personal card.
However, I want my stuff shipped to my HOME address, which is different from my work address (my PayPal billing address). I used to have to write a long-winded explanation each time in the "remarks" box. At least now they give me the choice of selecting my HOME address, although it shows as "unverified."
