As always, whenever something new comes out, they hype the heck outta it, then don't let all the little kiddies come to play. Ebay Stores are now open, but to sign up you've got to choose your state, which means that although every country is listed as a possible country, I can't see any way for Canadians to sign up as we're not listed (not to mention any other country, for that matter).
I've already seen a few other stores open listing their items location as Canada, and that should be easy enough to do as the location field is independent of the actual registration. I'm curious though, did any Canucks actually get a Canadian address in the system somehow or are you all using some other US address? If so, does Ebay automatically give that address out to buyers? I know they don't for regular Ebay transactions, but Stores are new. I have a friend and part time partner in the US who's address I can use for registration purposes, and who doesn't even mind getting the odd piece of mail (since I'm down there a fair amount anyways). However, I don't want her to have dozens of people mailing their orders to her in the US while I'm in Canada. Are sold store notifications just like end of auction ones or what?
Heck, even US sellers could answer this one for me, as they'd hopefully know if Ebay was handing out their address at the end of every store sale. Thanks.
