Ebay category listings are totally f*****d!
Here are just a few examples:
Title search for TOLEWARE, 278 auctions results returned. Go to the actual category though, either through the site map list, or through the clickable link at the top of any of those 278 auctions, you get a page that shows only 19 Toleware auctions "for all eBay".
EVERY BLOODY CATEGORY IS SCREWED LIKE THIS!
Here's three more:
INSULATOR, search gets 578 results, actual cateogy list showing only 11 auctions.
FRUIT JAR, search gets 378 results, actual category list showing only 1 auction.
BARBIE, search gets 19,016 results, laughingly the actual category list showing only 210 auctions.
NO WONDER SO MANY PEOPLE ARE SEEING THEIR SALES DOWN!! Unless someone does a title search they won't find your auction. This has been going on for days now.
PLEASE, inundate eBay with e-mails complaining about their disgusting mess!

Wow, very weird then. I personally know several other eBay sellers who are experiencing the same problem I've brought up here, and they aren't all in my geographic area, either.
And it's not a "refresh" problem with my computer, either.
Is there any chance this is a browser glitch? I don't know much how these things work, I use netscape, are you using explorer?

Search has been messing up for weeks on end. Sometimes if you refresh you get the correct listings. We have tried from three different computers and have had problems.
It seems to be working okay for me this morning but yesterday we found that things were a big mess. Each time we tried the completed categories we got different results. Lots of the items we checked for showed that none had sold in completed auctions yet we had just seen them end a few days ago. Search is very sporadic. I think you have to try several times.

Also, if you're getting to the category with an old bookmark, the category will show, but search results will be wrong.
Try starting at the eBay's home page and working to the category from there - sometimes this helps.
Just another benefit of eBay's ongoing category changes.

I hope that one fruit jar listing that is showing up is the one I have listed... naw, I haven't any bids. I must be one of the lost ones...
