I set up my Store at Ebay, and it's been a few days. But not all of my auctions are showing up there. I wouldn't be panicked, but did anyone else notice that the View Seller's Auctions link DISAPPEARS after you create a store? So the only way someone can see all my auctions is to go to the store, but they aren't all there for some reason.

I think it's a terrible idea to replace the View Seller's Auctions link with the Store link. The buyers don't all know what the stores are, they definitely don't know that auctions are there also, it is a big confusing mess.

Well, I am certainly confused but what is new. We have a store. We have auctions. The link on the auctions is still there, "View Seller's Other Auctions", and it works. What are you referring to? The red sales tag link is there as well.

That's even weirder. The View Seller's Other Auctions link is definitely not on my auctions. I don't know why it would come off of mine and not other people's.

Although I think the Store idea is good, and could increase the sales of the items I keep in inventory, it is hurting my sales right now.

Anyone else out there besides me lost their View Seller's Auctions link?

Well, it gets even stranger. My link to other auctions is still there on my auction items but now on my storefront my auction items have disappeared. They were there a while ago but gone now. In all honesty, eBay has things so screwed up it is surprising anything works. I have been trying to get some support from the powersellers group at ebay but they are apparently not responding to questions today. I think it is a holiday somewhere.

I've been reading the "complaint board" on this at Ebay, and it seems the offer of "free" until Sept. isn't worth it!

Give up the "Me" icon and "See Sellers Other Auctions," for the store front link??? With Ebay taking possibly weeks to fix it? According to their own estimate?

I read if you close your store (basically to get your links back) you'll have to wait 30 days to reopen.

Yet, if you wait, your store will end up buried in the earlier started stores...

To top it all off, only the first 300 that were opened are showing in the directory ANYWAY!

Anyone got advise, warning, info on this?

Here is a new one to scream about!

Yesterday I sold an item in my store, went very smootly.

Today I sold an item in my store and NO BUYER IS LISTED! Where their ID should be it is BLANK. There is not even a PLACE for the buyer to be listed on the ended item.

Someone bought my item (yeah!)....but I have no idea who. (curses!)

Bad enough when people can't find your stuff...WORSE when they actually buy it and you can't ask them to pay!

I don't think if you wait your store will end up buried. The way I understand it is that next week (or whenever) they get the ebay stores hub working, that front page will change and stores will be searchable and listed in categories.

Dear beta testers,
Thank you for your confidence in ebay stores. We have put our best high school dropouts to work on creating this new venue for you. We understand there may be temporary problems, but if you "hang in there" we will fix it. Later. After we make further improvements. Which won't work either.

when they have the storehub and front page and all that celebration,i am sure they will rotate the shops and feature different shops every day, what criteria do they use-???
dont know.
yahoo has a feedback system, the more customers praise you ,the more visibility your shop will receive.
may be all that powerseller shape up and separating feedback from buyer and from seller are steps towards a system of rewarding shops which provide good merchandise and good service.

Interesting thoughts, but... I'm suspecting it will end up being a bidding war for top billing placement, much as some search engines offer.

Remember the mention of having to pay eventually to be placed in the spam emailings? All things seem to lead back to the dollar.

How many will that help if they do give Power Sellers top billing? Won't do a thing for me. Keeps the top folks right where they are at...

I think the guinea pigs will likely end up being squashed by the larger enities, like Discovery, Post Office, etc. Its already been shown, they don't have to follow the rules us regular guys do.

Also, should they actually come through with that free listing day, how many wants their merchandise tied up in the shops? With no normal link to see your other auctions?

Can you afford to give up what works, for a nickel listing?

Makes sense. It probably will come down to the dollar.

What do you want to bet that eventually you'll have to pay to be a 'featured store' to actually be listed on the front page?
