I dont use either billpoint, or paypal because of all the problems I read about. The only CC service I use is bidpay. I have had many people use it, and had not one problem. Dont be shocked if one day ebay says get lost to paypal, and makes billpoint the only CC payment option.

chum-

I follow your line of thinking re. eBay getting rid of PayPal but that will never happen. They cannot bar a third-party payment service from operating. Sure, they may make it difficult for them to post their logos, etc. but by law cannot simply dispose of them.

eBay can do it if they change the payment mechanism. At Half.com eBay has instituted an integrated instantaneous CC payment facility that automatically charges buyers when a sale is made. No other payment mechanisms are available or possible the way they set it up.

They could do the same at the eBay auction site.
