I won an auction on 6/14. Sent seller email asking for shipping info and where to send payment along with my shipping info, etc. same date. Resent message on 6/16. Use AOL so on 6/16 also used "send auction to a friend" just in case there was an email problem. On 6/18 I received response to Send Auction to a Friend "I'll get back with you in a couple days about shipping". Nothing yet. I responded today with "Thanks, I'd appreciate it. I try to pay for all my auctions within 24 hours of receiving the information and would like to complete this auction". I have 800+ buying & selling feedback, seller has 13 total - all for buying. I don't know if I'm too antsy, seller has seller's remorse (I got a good price as there was no pic!), or the seller just doesn't know she should send an EOA or what?? I don't like to be a pest...but I buy a lot and like to get them paid for and done!

I'm still waiting for a seller to give me her address and the shipping quote on an auction that ended June 06. I won't bother e-mailing her again as she only responded once with a lame excuse and promises. But I may neg her.

I buy lots so I like to send out my payment within a couple of days. There is no reason it should drag on for a week or more unless the seller has unexpected problems.

I had a similar experience with a seller on another auction site. Finally, on the 10th or 11th day, I got her contact info and called her. If you really want the item, it may take that effort on your part. You might also want to contact a couple of her previous buyers to see if they experienced the same thing.

I also had a thing with a newbie seller (0 feedback). I took a number of days for her to finally contact me, and I think there was also a gap from the day she got my money order to the day she mailed. I wasn't desperate for it, so I gave her positive feedback for the transaction (the item was as described and well packed), but I [tactfully] let her know that many buyers expect faster service, and that she ran the risk of getting neutral or negative feedback. I suggested that she do some buying on eBay to see how more experienced sellers handle things.

Good luck--I hope you get your item eventually!

Without eBay, I might have a real life...

As an INTERESTED seller, I always send my EOA within hours of ending. I would be apalled if I ever thought my customer thought I did not respond to them.....what if my email isnt working only I dont know it? I would hope that the customer would email me at least once, whether they hear from me or not, to acknowledge the auction win, etc. So, buyers, if you do not hear from me within the first 8-10 hours, PLEASE let me know....it means my email isn't working!!!
