I'm having real problems trying to get catagory pages, seller list, etc to load. Is eBay down?

I've been having probs also. I didn't see any extended maintenance posted.

Also, I had 26 auctions end yesterday between 4 and 5pm, and I've only received 7 eBay EOA's. The BIN I had end around noon yesterday has still not been acknowleged by eBay.

WA state if that's a factor. (I also had a server problem yesterday, but never confirmed whether it was my local folks or the bigger one they use.)

No go for me in upstate NY. Can't even get the home page. Maybe a routing problem not affecting everyone?

I finally got "my Ebay" but now can't open any auctions.

I've only been able to get some pages to load and it's sporadic. I see they just had to mess with something during maintenance again.

Thanks, I was thinking it's local since I had to start this thread. It's hit and miss (mostly miss), with some partial page loads in central florida.

sadie999,

I think you jinxed us with 'tentatively'...

down again in Tennessee.

Maybe I'll go get some breakfast. SA Pro, has locked up all morning. Glad I updated my sale data last night, so EOA notices can be sent.

I'm beginning to think eBay outages are bit like earthquakes...always small ones happening, and everybody knows the Big One will happen again, but when???

UH-OH. No eBay home page.

Maybe I'll have a big breakfast. Sausage, eggs, toast, pancakes...

I was able to get one page to load(browsing categories) and it looks as if they are in the process of changing the whole look of the page, with frames, etc. I'm in SC---

Not getting anything this morning here in FL, just a blank page. Guess they are up to their old tricks again.

Nothing here in NC! No Ebay home page, no search, no Chat Boards! I was able to get into the Announcements one time and there was a message posted today that some members in some areas may have had difficulties, but htat it has all been corrected! Sure it has! Isn't it beginning to seem that everytime they do maintenance, they just bring up more troubles? Then they are messed up for the entire weekend! Maybe they should start doing maintenance on Thursday night instead of Friday and give themselves Fridays to work out the problems before the weekend. I've stopped ending auctions on Sunday nights because of all the troubles they've been having.

Yikes, I've been ok since I posted. Will now try to remove jinx.

:::Sadie steps away from her computer, walks backwards in a circle and says, "Ylevitatnet," (tentatively backwards).::::

Hope that helps!

Down in Oklahoma too! I can get to the home page but zilch from there. What I can't understand is why eBay seems to have these problems on a regular basis but AW seems to ALWAYS be "available." Kudos to the AW folks...perhaps eBay could learn a few things from them! Oh well...time for breakfast anyway...maybe the lesson to be learned is that eBay shouldn't be attempted on an empty stomach.

I talked with some of the eBay Site Operations people this morning and they told me they are having intermittent networking problems which they are working to resolve.
