I am having to deal with a problem and I wonder if anyone else has had this. I had an auction where I said I would only ship to bidders in the US. It's took bulky and expensive to ship elsewhere. Someone from Australia put the minimum bid in and no one else bid. No the fun starts. This guy can't seem to get any of my email. though he's sending email to me. I told him no sale overseas. I filed the standard NPB saying that he did not meet the terms of sale, which was no overseas sales. Ebay sends out it's standard boilerplate NPB warning threatening the guy if he doesn't pay. The guy sends me frantic email and so far my attempts to contact have been zip. I contact ebay and I get their canned email about putting in a phone call -- HA! That would cost more than the item itself! Apparently this fellow either didn't pay some other folks or had email problems, and there were about two other negs for this and I imagine this will be the third strike before NARU. I just want to get my FVF, and what this guy does is his business beyond that. His chief crime is not reading Ebay's fine print notice about US SALES ONLY, and having a lousey ISP. Any thoughts about what I should do from here? Any similar experiences?

Well, if you just want your FVF back and don't necessarily want to leave a black mark on your bidders record, choose the option
"both parties agreed to cancel transaction."
(It's something like that).
You get your FVF immediately, bidder doesn't get any "points" on his record

Don't take life so serious, it ain't nohow permanent.

Why would this guy get Ebay's NPB warning email and not yours? Did you pull the person's contact information and see if the email addresses match?
