I am still new to E-Bay trading and have just had my first hand slap by the higher powers of E-Bay. I made an honest mistake in a description of an item, and, of course, E-Bay removed it. Which I fully understand. However, prior to it's being removed, a bid was placed. I am concerned whether or not E-Bay notified the bidder why it was removed or is the bidder still wondering what happened to item. Also concerned that the bidder may not be interested in any of my other auctions. Please help me. Thanks

An honest mistake in the description? What kind of mistake? They usually don't remove auctions for mistakes, unless it was against their policies.

The bidder was notified by ebay. Why wouldn't they want to bid on anything else of yours?

No, this doesn't happen. More details please.

It was all my fault... I had not done my homework on the Endangered Species Act. That's all taken care of now. As stated earlier, I was mainly concerned about the bidder and if he had been notified of the item's removal. Thanks for your responses.
