I read here on a thread recently that you had to accept Billpoint to open an Ebay store. One of the pinks (Ebay staff) said this on an Ebay chat board:

eBay does require that you offer buyers the ability to pay with their credit card. However, this can be through Billpoint, Paypal, Bidpay, your own merchant account or any other way that you accept credit card payment.

So.. you don't HAVE to accept Billpoint to open an Ebay store.. just as long as you offer some type of CC payment.

I personally accept Billpoint (and like it very much), but just thought I'd pass this info along in case some of you didn't want to open a store just because you thought you had to accept Billpoint....
