Not all down, it seems that I can view auctions that have been up a few days, but the newly listed ones tell my "function unavailable"

WA state. I can get to individual items and the search page, though I didn't actually try a search. Also to eBay's home page.

The only thing I can't access is my seller's page.

Forget out my previous statement... I must have gotten in during the dying but not dead yet stage. Dead here in KY now too. *sigh*

Why are all their "System Status" lights ALWAYS green, even when clearly the site is down nationwide? I have never seen a red light in the System Status area!!

***System Status***

The following categories were unavailable from 5:35 PDT to 6:05 PDT:
Computers, Electronics, Photos and Glass. During this time, Seller Search was intermittently unavailable. No other systems were affected. The situation has been resolved and all functions are once again available.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Regards,
eBay

They forgot My Ebay. That was down too.

Liars.

None of their green lights turned to red during that outage.

jema: I think the red lights were down in the outage too. That's why you couldn't see them...

Pay no attention to those lights! They are meant to confuse the natives! I did see a red light in there one time when the entire Ebay was down. When it came back up there was a red light on one of the functions. I also saw an amber light once that stayed there for about 5 minutes and then went back to green. I'm told those are activated by actual human beings who get to make the decision on when to change the colors. They don't mean a thing - they are meant to make you feel something is wrong with your computer and that Ebay is just fine!
