I don't usually sell out of the US because I don't want to lie on the customs form. I had a Frenchman email me the other day and ask permission to bid. I asked on AW what the best way for him to pay me was because I am not signed up for international sales on PayPal. Someone suggested BidPay. I told the Frenchman he could bid if he paid me that way. He won the auction. Now he claims BidPay doesn't take payments from France. He wants me to take a bank check. Well, here, see for yourselves:
Hello,
Sorry but I try to send you the payment for the Longwy whis "Yahoo pay
direct" but it is only used since and from USA and not since another country.
I don't know how send you money otherwise by a check established by my bank
in us $ and guarantee by it, and sent directly at your adress. You can to
put down this check directly on your bank account in security.
Thanks to give me your adress if this solution agree you, or give me another
solution.

I looked at their website and it appears to me that they do take payments from France. He doesn't speak very much English. What should I do? I need the money soon.

Well, duh! I see what has happened. It took posting here for me to understand what he is saying. He thinks I mean PayDirect. Well, that solves it!

Kasue, why would you need to lie on the customs form? I trade world wide and have never lied on a customs form. International dealers know the costs. I guess that the guy in France will send you US$ cash if you ask.
