Down in PA. I was watching as more and more things stopped working. My guess is this is an "unscheduled maintenance" in preparation for the Free Day. Since we're about two hours away I'm thinking they decided to reboot everything and start fresh.

I think the east coast people started at 00:01 their time for free listing day and brought it down.

I can still search and bid in Michigan but I haven't tried to list anything so I don't know if that function is working.

I think the problems may be caused by the East coast folks who already started listing.

That's it, i'm calling the FTC...

This is a grave matter of eBay halting International and Interstate Commerce.

This is the worst crash I've seen in a loooonnnng time. Glad I don't have anything open right now! Am simply trying to contact a runner-up bidder by linking through his open auction, which of course is "unavailable." Stinking email policy doesn't even allow me to access runner-up's email address when the high bidder stiffs me BooHoo

This must be a routing problem which only affects certain areas because I'm still zipping along in Michigan. I can browse, search and bid.
