Ok, I have a stupid question. From what I can gather so far Auction watch is a way to list and manage auctions on different auction sites.
If I use it to list on Ebay, I pay the regular Ebay fees to list PLUS a fee to use auction watch, plus a FVF to auctionwatch? Or am I misunderstanding something?

You are right. And you can also take payment by paypal or billpoint and pay THEM a fee, pretty soon you will be lucky to receive the price of the postage to mail off your things!

That assumes, of course, that your AW auction actually gets launched.

Whoops...did I say that?

ok, thanks I will just stick to listing on Ebay the old fashioned way. How can anyone make any money paying two listing fees and two FVF's?

Group of 11 auctions ended last week. Total amount $225.26. Billpoint took 2.63 for 2 payments. Paypal took 2.91 for 3 payments. Ebay took 16.47. Auction Watch took 3.06. For my money AW was the best deal of the bunch. For all the work it took out of my hands, it was well worth the cost!

That's pretty funny....Oh, no smiley face?

Well, it was funny anyway. There are easier and MUCH more reliable ways to get the job done.

PS...And to Kraftee, you are definitely NOT a stupid newbie!

To each their own, Sharkbaby. Am I to assume you are saying that I AM a stupid newbie? Whatever. I stand by what I said. You certainly don't have to like it or agree with it. Ain't freedom wonderful?

Susan, oh, heavens no. I'm sorry if it sounded that way. I meant no disrespect whatsoever to you or any other seller here.

I just meant that the original poster wasn't asking a stupid question and, well, ok sort of implying that they were smart to stay where they are. I've used this service before and I know how unreliable it is.

But please forgive me for making it sound like I directed anything at you cuz I didn't!

Sharkbaby, thank you. I accept your apology and extend one of my own for jumping to the wrong conclusion.

I've had no problems with AW-other than the jam up last night. I DL'd Ebay's assistant and dropped it two weeks into my free trial. It was terrible.

So far, I'm very pleased with AW and think it's worth the money.

No apology necesary! Thanks, tho! I probably sound a bit snippier than usual lately as I ran out of zoloft last week and life is becoming a bit of a chore!

Working on that! Hopefully will sell more stuff and be able to pick up my prescriptions

I was LUCKY enough to get in on a yearly fee deal of $120.00 with the possibility of pro rated refund if I become p-offed enough! LF's and FVF's on TOP of eBay's LF's and FVF's = TOO MUCH IMNSVHO!

Hi

I am with Susan. I find it nice and easy to list with AW.

If you want to do this as a business then you really need some kind of bulk lister. I use auctionwatch and it is well worth the $200 I paid initially for the year. I used to use Andale and that cost a fortune because they charge a % of the FV. Not worth it. I put on approx 500 auctions this week and all I had to do was the pics/ write desc and post... let Aw do the rest. Then I will wait for payment to come and ship the items. I don't know how or why some people choose to do it by hand and thru ebay unless they only list <35 a week. I used to and thought I would die trying to keep track of all the auctions.
Good luck and as long as you are happy then that is all that counts.
