Between half.com Paypal and bad sellers,I've had it with this mode of online buying..
Here's my half.com problem:
Last month I purchased a CD on half.com.The seller had alot of feedback and the item stated it was new and sealed. When I received it and tried to play it,it skipped so bad it would not even play on 3 different systems.
I contacted the seller thru half.com's "Report a problem" area and the seller emailed to send it back.I responded, thanks,I'll send it back this week.
I looked online at my credit card statement and there is no credit.I went to the half.com site and clicked on the transaction and it states," You failed to respond to The Seller's request to return the item. At this time we consider the transaction to be completed."
BUT I DID RESPOND!
My aol email log shows that my reply was sent.Half.com obviously did not receive it.
I had returned the CD by insured mail to the seller on 6/16/01.
I've written to half.com from their site 3 times and they have never responded to my credit request. I told them I can even send them a scan of the the postal form 3813!
I buy and sell alot there- and have a 5/5 rating..I've had it with their inconderate customer slurvice and they have forever lost all of my business.
In the interim, how do I get my money back from them ?

When I complained about an item and Half responded (which they didn't with you)
I was instructed to send the item to HALF--not to the seller.
I've complained to them about 3 times and everytime they have written back in about 3 days.
