Well....it took almost three full years; but I finally met the psycho-seller who neg'ed me because I had the nerve to post a neutral to her feedback....I believe the proper terminology would be: RETALIATORY !
Funny thing is...I actually feel pretty good about it & will proudly wear the NEG as a badge-of-honor! (plus the fear of ruining the "perfect" FB is finally over!)
This wonderful seller received a neutral from me due to: ignoring more than 15 emails during a 27 day period; lied numerous times about whether the item had been shipped; and did't ship the item for 20 days AFTER receiving payment by credit card! She posted a "neg" only after I had posted a "gentle-neutral".
Now I am being subjected to harassing emails and veiled threats, along with vivid descriptions of how her husband "a** chokes me" anytime she receives a neg or neutral!!
After this mornings tirade from her via email, I informed her that ANY further communications would result in notification of eBay, her internet server, and local police officials. Hopefully, the psycho-queen will understand that I will not play anymore.
In the meantime, my BIG RED 1 NEG will have to be the price I pay for being on eBay with unstable sellers!
Same Kawfee-n-Junque as on eBay...I aint afraid of who I am!

Got my first one this week on my buying ID. I knew it was coming. Left the seller a neg for misrepresenting an item and being unwilling to return/replace/refund. Oh well, and life still goes on ....doesn't it?

Welcome to the club. Got my first one on my selling ID when I made a rare purchase. Seller also refused to allow return/refund on item that arrived smashed, then claimed to have lost the insurance form so I couldn't even file for insurance.
kawfeenjunque,
Your psycho seller sounds just like a seller who purchased something from me, then was demanding & rude the entire way through the sale (she received her items SIX days after the auction ended but claimed this was too long). I'm daily awaiting a neg from her because that's the way she is.
I happened to check her seller feedback this week & noticed a newbie left her a neutral (mainly because they apparently didn't understand the feedback system). She went into a tirade about the "stupidity" of the buyer leaving a neutral in her response, then left one for them.
What is with people like this? The buyer apparently didn't know better, so the seller publically calls them "stupid", leaves them a neutral & if she does to them what she did to me, probably sent them rude, harassing emails.
BTW, in the neutral feedback the buyer left, they stated "nice item" so it didn't appear to be an effort to "dis" the seller. The buyer only had 3 feedback.

I got smart, I quit bidding on my selling id, and went to another I had not used in a year that had almost 300 feedback. I got one retalitory from a seller already and it did not bother me in the least. You have to fight for yourself sometime, and quit letting these sellers get away with it.
posted on June 30, 2001 11:43:12 AMIf I were on the receiving end of those emails, I'd send a copy of each and every one of them to Safe Harbor and let them deal with Psycho Queen.
Problem is..ebay will rarely do anything about them.

Yes, welcome to the club. It happens to all of us who have the "guts" to post negative or neutral for bad bidders or sellers. Then we get it, in retaliation. I was somewhat relieved to get mine!

she stated that her husband "a**choked her" anytime she got a neg or neutral!!
Not to certain what "a**choking" is....and pretty sure I really do NOT care to hear the details!!
Same Kawfee-n-Junque as on eBay...I aint afraid of who I am!

Heck, I got 31 negatives this week, including 28 from one guy who signed up with ebay just long enough to win 28 auctions and then leave 28 negatives as they ended.

You REALLY need to contact her ISP also! She is in violation of most email "etiquette" rules! What a jerk! I had a dude email me several times about one of my listings, how he didn;t like the way it was worded, misrepresentation, blah blah bla (the thing was, he wasn't even bidding!!!) threatened to sue me, etc. I finally told him to take a leap, and that I would report him to his ISP. Never heard from him again.....

This would be considered "feedback bombing" and Ebay will remove the feedback if they feel that it is. You need to contact Power Seller support and have them look into this. Although with your feedback what's a couple dozen negs...
I'd love to see you start a thread on AW telling about your business, like when you started, what propted you to start, how many deadbeats you get, etc. etc. etc.
I've watched your feedback soar in the last year. I totally admire your business and would love to hear a little more about it, and I think others would to!
