This bidder with over 500 total feedbacks wins an auction of ours on June 5th, we email him congratulations on June 6th, and he never bothers to contact us. Not once. He's got enough feedback to know how this ebay thing works, ya know? On the 23rd I sent him a reminder and filed an NPB alert, so he should have received not one, but two emails about the auction, one being from ebay.
Five days go by and still he doesn't bother to email, so I neg him on the 28th. If he would have typed a simple four or five word reply he could have avoided the whole thing, but we never hear from this bloke until after he sees the neg! But of course now I'm the turd bird for leaving him a neg and spoiling his feedback (according to him that is; he had a couple of negs for no/slow pay already). You know what? I'd do it again in a heartbeat! I'd leave him two negs if I could.
Just had to rant for a minute.
I've given close to 30 negs in 2 1/2 years and only have been dinged twice in retaliation. So, not leaving negs for deadbeats is not all that risky.
