Used to be Sunday nights, 10-12 pm were best for me. Lately Sunday nights have been terrible, though some report that Sunday afternoons are good.
I now use 10:30-11:30 on weekdays, usually Monday and Thursday, for best results. Friday and Saturday nights are usually dead.
I do art, books, antiques, and collectibles. Other categories may have different 'prime times'.

I usually shoot for sun evening also but I think Zoomin is right ther is no particular good time I have had things that I screwed up on and eneded on thur do very well and I have been in bidding wars on items I wanted on tuesday afternoons
My current thought is If it is a good item anytime is allright as collecters will go for it
If it is a common or margenial item I still like the idea of the most peaple being availible on sunday nites
