If you don't believe it, just peruse my current auctions on eBay. Did I get a bargain, or did I just get hosed by eBay again?
The whole situation is the result of attempting to use the newest version of Mister Lister to upload auctions to my store. There is more discussion of the issue on the eBay help board, but basically if you try to follow the procedures outlined by eBay, you may end up with 30 day auctions instead of storefront listings. Another seller has indicated that eBay told him the problem is fixed, but I can easily see from my latest test batch that it is not.
Just a warning to everyone, there are still some serious bugs in the eBay storefronts, and if you happen to come across a 30 day auction, you now know why. I am particularly dismayed over this one, as my account was charged .40 each for 6 items despite the fact that the final screen I saw before commiting them indicated that my insertion fees would be $0.
Yeah, yeah, I have only myself to blame for this. I swore I was going to wait before opening a store, just assuming that there would be a lot of glitches in the beginning. It was too much to expect that they could get a problem fixed on the third try.
