Is it true that it is free to relist for one time if an item don't sell the first time?? does this mean if this item don't sell the first relist then if you list it a third time there is a new listing fee...and iF THIS SAME item doesn't see and is relisted again is that relist free AGAIN???.....also Does Yahoo have a free relist if an item don't sell the first time....thanks for any info...patrick

To clarify:

If you list a widget for 9.99 you are charged a listing fee of 30 cents whether it sells of not.

If it does not sell and you relist it, you will be charged another 30 cents for a total of 60 cents if it does not sell again. If iy does sell this time you are refunded the second 30 cent fee and your total listing fee is 30 cents.

On a third relist, you will owe 60 cents if it sells and 90 cents if it does not. Ad nauseum....

I ceased to care what Yahoo does way back in January.

Not quite correct:

Free relist only works ONCE.

1) List item for $9.99, charged 30 cents.. doesn't sell.

2) Bring up the old auction, click RELIST. List item again for $9.99. Charged ANOTHER 30 cents... (But verification screen states "This item applies for relisting credit if it sells the second time around"

IF IT SELLS:
-> Refunded 30 cents

IF IT DOESN'T SELL:
3) Bring up the first OR second auction, click RELIST. List item again for $9.99. The verification screen does NOT say that it applies for relist credit. Charged 30 cents

IF IT SELLS:
-> No credit

IF IT DOESN'T SELL:
4) Bring up the THIRD relist... Can choose to relist it, am told it DOES apply this time for credit if it sells.. CHARGED 30 cents.

So basically, EACH item can be relisted ONCE AND ONLY ONCE to apply for credit, and the relisted item can NEVER be relisted for credit.

(I think that bites...)

mrlatenite has it correct. Very murky relisting refund policy which is probably there to get a lot of extra listing fees from confused sellers.

So, the next question would be... if we relist an item we listed on free listing day, and it sells the second time around... are those fees refunded??
