Just a beginning, but I'm getting bids again. All except for the FLD auctions, which are still pathetic. I listed only 10 auctions on FLD and have bids on only 3 of those auctions.
But I've gotten a few nice bids this morning! I guess people are sitting in front of their computers on their day off.
Happy Independence Day!

I listed over 400 items on FLD (using for the 1st time in 2+ yrs.) and have 8 bids to show for it.
But, what the heck! It's free right?
Happy 4th!

FLD = Free Listings Day
Atleast once, sometimes twice, a year, ebay has a free listings day where you can submit your auctions during a 24 hour period for free.
The last FLD was last week & many of the sellers on this board took advantage of it to list auctions.
There, traditionally, is another one right about Christmas week when ebay listings get slow again.
AND, there are sometimes FLD's offered by companies (such as BillPoint, or some software companies) where they'll "refund" your listing fee if you use their service in the listing.

Two BIN's and a bunch of bids that weren't there this morning. A better week than I've had in 3 weeks. Whew, I thought I was going to have to register my pets at a temp agency!

Listed about 60 items on FLD and so far have bids on at least 40. I think the holiday provided a great day for bidding since everyone was off from work. I'm glad the FLD included the holiday.

sadie, do your pets have typing skills? Any good at taking photographs? If so, I think I can find them a job ...

Was quite pleased to log on to ebay yesterday & see how many people had either placed a bid or done a BIN. Even a couple of minor bidding wars started.
A fair number of international bids popped up.
Many hours to go but I'll be a happy camper w/what already has bids on it.
Definately worth the time spent to list. FLD has always been very, very good to me.

Well, I managed to sell 8 out of 10 of the FLD auctions. A bit of sniping at the end on a few. A heck of a lot better than it looked earlier today.

I actually did pretty decent on this FLD. 7 out of 13 sold, most for more than I thought. Even had one BIN, although it was a fustercluck. The guy used BIN and it gave him an opening bid. Didn't stop the auction either. I had to cancel it to sell to the high bidder.

don't understand why, but i've also had a flurry of international buyers. one bid and won without bothering to email and ask, another 4 emailed and asked. this is more international bidders in 2 days than i've had combined since i've started.

I did all 5 and 7-day listings, so I'm done. I appear to have a 60% sell rate. A couple that I relisted have sold or gotten bids, but I've avoided doing anything with the rest until I have a chance to consider what to do [probably, add more photos].
It appears that I got no bids after about 10PM Thursday night, EST. The only item to sell had a bid already. Guess those last dozen or so items had low curb-appeal! Next time I won't bother staying up late and fighting the traffic to list at that time.
