Went garage sale-ing today and picked up a few neat knickknacks. Nothing super valuable I'm thinking...

Anyway, some I can find on ebay, but that's only as good as the last purge of auctions. Any good sites to help you determine value of items, going price for items, etc?

What kind of items? You are going to need to be a bit more specific than that.

Right here on the AW forum is an excellent place to find out "book value" on a lot of items, since there are so many different sellers who post here, many of them experts in certain fields.

That helps. But should I post here in ebay Outlook or in one of the more general forums?

For starters, I've got a tin taper candle mold. Very nice patina on it. Good condition. Makes four candles. Found a six-candle version almost identical that sold for $20. However, I've found 12-candle versions that are quite old for $300+. I've not found a four candle version.

I HAVE found a repro of a three-candle version selling in a gift store for $10. Problems is that I cannot tell mine from the originals and I don't have a repro to see if they are that close.
