Hi:
I am a seller in ebay, I have a case: a buyer send me the money order, but I still do not receive in 2 week. Then he ask me send the money back or send out his item, otherwise will notify ebay or NYPD. I told him I sure don't received any money and ask him go back post office cancel that money order. But he just reply the email said he don't has any receipt.
Can anyones tell me is this buyer lie?
How can I doing next step?
(~_~)

In a case like this I would just send a polite email back to the buyer stating that without proof of payment you can't refund any money (how can you "refund" money if you have not been "paid" money. Don't worry about the NYPD threats. He has to have proof that he sent it. With his money order reciept he could get a refund through the money order issuer.

Good luck.

And wouldn't they be able to track whether that money order was "cashed" as well?
