I have never had this happen before. A buyer e-mailed me that she accidentily bid on the wrong auction. Ahe asked me if she could transfer the bid. I know that is impossible but was wondering if the best action is to cancel the auction she bid on and let her bid on the correct auction or let the one she bid on just remain listed till the end and then relist. I would like to do this for her but want to handle it the best way. Do we pay our fee to e-bay if we cancel an auction with a bidder? Advice please.

If the auction is still running, cancel her bid. If the auction is over, she is bound to pay.

You can't transfer the bid. She can retract her bid (with good reason) and bid on correct item but if she does, she needs to do it asap so it does not affect the ending bid that much - doing it at the very end can ruin an auction.

Hope this helps!
