This is worse than ebay, because I can not respond! I had someone give me a 1/5 because they never received their cd. I tracked them down, send a letter explaining that I did send the CD, and they should process a refund from half, even if it meant I would not get paid for it! I have over 1000 positive on ebay, I don't like receiving negative. Another thing. Just got one where I got a 4/5, and the buyer said:
"Video arrived , and was as stated, after a little delay, but overall happy with seller and would use again"
Geez...I sent via media mail, which takes EXTRA time - This was mailed the VERY NEXT DAY (and I usually confirm the orders as soon as they come in) - I don't think I can go any faster, buyer should have chosen priority mail instead of media mail. I wish I could place a note stating this fact in the feedback...

Amazon is even worse because the buyers there assume they will get their stuff as fast as usual from Amazon itself, and will leave bad FB if they get their items "late". They do not bother, I think, to check postmarks to see when the item was MAILED.
At least w/ Amazon buyers I always send email pointing out how long it can take, esp. to CA from here. Sometimes they PayPal me a few more dollars to get Priority.
As for half.com, I've just decided I don't care anymore. I ship as soon as notified but since I can't even communicate with the buyers, they'll just have to hope for the best. I am tempted to get out of the half.com business for many reasons.

There are some idiot buyers on Half. I too had a customer who gave me a 4/5 because the book didn't arrive as quickly as the other's she'd ordered and of course media mail can take a while. I do think that Half should have a way to respond to these stupid comments.

I agree completely, I have sent several messages to Customer Service at half.com on this very topic. What bugs me the most is when they give you a 3/5 with no explanation. Or when they complain about slow shipping, when in fact, it's slow delivery.

I've had the same problem, I had one customer give me a 4/5 and the comments were that she loved the book, better than expected and arrived quickly.
So,it looks as though she was completly happy but still would not give a 5/5.
What more can I do??
