I hope someone can help me out with an answer here. I emailed ebay but am guessing it's going to take a few days to hear from them.

My selling/buying account was suspended due to non payment, for a variety of reasons (I've been ill and off work among them). Anyhow, I now am able to bring my account current and will pay it off tomorrow. How long after an account is Paid In Full is a username registered again? At what point will I be able to buy/sell again on eBay?

Before the NARU I was an excellent buyer/seller with almost 400 feedbacks and only 1 negative and I am anxious to be able to get "back" into things.

If anyone has an answer I'd be very thankful!

It is really going to depend on how long it has been since you paid them. If you have actually been NARUed, it is possible that you are in for a long fight. If it is just a recent bill that wasn't paid on time, it will only take a matter of a few days; BUT, after you pay the bill, you have to write to [email protected] to request reinstatement, and I don't think they tell you that anywhere. Good luck.

Hmmm, I think my last transaction with them was in very late April, I actually can't remember and I can't log into "My eBay" because I'm NARU. I am NARU'd for that very reason. I emailed them at both Timesensitive and at Safeharbor and WILL pay the balance tomorrow morning (paycheck!!) so then I must email [email protected] from there? I can understand if I have to wait for a few days, that's not a problem. I just want to pay the bill like I need to as I haven't been able to and get back to selling and buying!

At the very least, 30 days from time of payment (seems to be the norm).

Okay - I went ahead and made my payment this evening, just a few moments ago. My account is now paid in full (with a little bit of a credit actually), so I emailed "[email protected]" and relayed the information. HOw long does it take to hear from them now? I understand it may take a little time *up to 30 days* but I'm just curious as to others who've gone through this so I can know what to expect. Anxious to get back to buying and selling!

Thanks again

It depends on the rep at resolve that you get. Last August I requested that two ebay accounts that I had be merged, I was told not to use one of them for 6 months and they would merge. I paid the bill, or so I thought, in Jan. they decided I hadn't. My main account was suspended in January. By the time it was over with, they had come up with 3 different reasons to suspend me. I had been fighting them over a fraud claim I had submitted and that had been denied, they told me not to email them about it again, I sent another email at 3 in the morning and 30 minutes later my auctions were pulled and I was naru'd. To make a long story short, it was May before I was reinstated. The worst part of it was I was promised help by an "association" I was a member of. After several promises she decided I did not exist and I never heard another word from them. Hope you get back on and good luck. Resolve will usually work with you.

Well I got my answer!

My account was automatically reopened as far as I know. The "Not A Registered User" is gone, I was able to list an item this morning (I was testing it!) and all other functions work. So I'm guessing that when you are suspended for non payment of your bill when the bill is paid in full that you are automatically reinstated.

Thanks everyone.
