I have a package going to a fpo address intl. I mailed it and forgot to add the customs form. It came back to me. We have a hallmark that is not a full service post office..and doesn't typically do intl.

Does anyone know if I can drop this off at the hallmark store, it has the postage already on it and all i need to do is afix the customs label. Or can I go to a mbe and just drop it off with them or will they charge me?

I hate to stand in line at the main po. There is a mini full svc near me but they are closed for auditing indefinately!!

Call the place and ask them. I have a drug store that has a PO branch in it, but they don't do any int'l except LETTERS. No packages at all, etc.

I didn't think FPO addresses were international and required customs slips... Good info for future references, thanks for mentioning it.. (sorry I don't have an answer to your problem, but do appreciate the new info).

It seems to me that your Hallmark would take it, since it a military address. Don't all those go to a certain point in the US and then they are shipped together from there. It was a good suggestion to call them ahead of time. I will have to see if my Hallmark will take pre postage packages, that would be great, I hate going to the post office.

They sent it back to me because it didn't have a customs form. New security feature

On APO or FPO parcels you only need to use domestic postage (it's like a zone 8 thing here anyway) but, especially if it weighs 16oz or more it MUST have the 2976 customs form (the small one applies to parcels that are 4lbs or less; and the large customs form to OVER 4lbs).
