I found out something you might be interested in.

You said on the other Dutch Auction thread "Quite frankly, there seems to be no advantage to it -- you pay the listing fee x the number of items offered, so no savings there."

I found out differently. I listed 10 items at 4.49 ea. Listing fee: 1.10, presumably because I listed $44.90 worth of mechandise. So, it looks like I saved $1.90 by listing Dutch over 10 separate items.

Now, was I happy with the results of the Dutch auction? Not very.

Thank you for your opinions on the other thread.

WOW! Got my name into a SUBJECT! Feeling pretty darn cool!

Anyway, that's interesting about the listing. I thought I'd read it was a straight multiple of the number of items.

Sorry it didn't work for you. Perhaps if you sold Ginsu knives, you'd fair better. Or maybe my twisty-ties can be sold Dutch, with a reserve price.

i have been selling for 4 years and list dutchies on a regularly. i have alway thought it was against policy to list like items seperately, you must combine them in a dutch, even though i have always seen folks doing it....if it's not now then maybe it was at one time orrr maybe i imagined the whole thing.
