in the c2it online payments program the buyer pays fees correct? I typed in www.c2it.com to check out the site I have heard so much about here. Am I correct in reading that the person sending the money, the buyer pays, the fee? There are no fes for the seller? That is what I am reading.
If that is the case I will sign up. I use paydirect. I am satified but always open to other payment methods that aren't eating profits. I got rid of Paypal long ago when they pulling a lot of crap. Why should they make a profit off my sweat when the site is run so badly.
Anyway I have no problem offering c2it also if the buyer wants to pay the fee to use it and it isn't going to cost me. . . ? Anywayone using it? What do you think? How secure and safe? I am assuming because it is run by citibank that it is a pretty slick set up.
Here is what it stated about fees. Send Cash from any linked Citibank Credit Card/Debit Card 1.0 % of transaction, minimum $.50
Send Cash from any linked Other Credit Card/Debit Card 1.0 % of transaction, minimum $.50
Send Cash from any linked Checking or Savings Account 1.0 % of transaction, minimum $.50
Request a Check $ 3.00 [fee not waived]

I was wondering that myself..if they charge to withdraw funds. Or rather if you can have your $s directly deposited to your bank account and is there a charge for that? All the web site says is that there is $3.00 fee for sending a check out to you. I'd really rather have the direct deposit..as my bank is not local. Anyone know?

I just signed up last week, haven't actually used the service yet. Their terms are changing this month. Apparently everybody will be assigned a C2it account. All your funds will roll in and out of this account (yisgood, have you seen this yet?). Here are the new terms: https://www.c2it.com/C2IT/july_aoltc.jsp (don't you love it when the terms change the week after you sign up for something?). If you scroll half way down, they list the fees. There is no charge to "Get Cash" and there is no charge to transfer funds from your C2it account to any of your "linked" accounts. There is a 1% charge to "Send Cash" and they will now allow you to transfer funds between your "linked" accounts for a 1.6% transaction fee. BUT as I said, I haven't actually used it yet.

Yep - C2it is great... I have been using it for a while now and have had about 80
transactions or so... NO FEE'S at all for me the seller
I think it is a much needed service and the more who use it the faster it will grow .
just to test them I requested money to be sent to my credit card and also by check, no
problems with either, also I called customer service and spoke with a REAL person
who talked to me and even asked for suggestions about improvements. the money I
would have sent to paypal is in my pocket where it belongs )

I think you could be right. I am willing to use it because the buyers pay not me. I am more then willing to wait for a check money order or if they like they can pay at paydirect. I think I will also add c2it. If it isn't taking any of my profit margin I don't see why not.
As for Direct deposit from what I see the only ones they charge are international. I like that also that they are international as paydirect isn't.
The buyer wants to use their credit cards let them pay the fees for it after all the sellers pay all the fees for auctions, listings if they use a service like this one. I don't I use a free service but still the less fees I pay the more money I make.

Why doesn't Citibank just automatically give each of their credit card holders a C2IT account? How many do they have, 10+ million? Automatically open the accounts for current card holders, give them some incentive to use it EXCLUSIVELY for online payments, and then drive BillPoint and PayPal out of business! The world would be a better place.
Yahoo PayDirect is linked to CIBC National Bank. How the heck can they offer the service for free when PayPal and BillPoint relentlessly raise fees???
