Hope someone a litte more savy than me can help - how do I turn on all AOL email stuff to see if two emails are from same person? Had a buyer who paid for half of stuff - deadbeat on other more expensive items - so I sent the paid for items - now they are not registered user. So I was not sure if they thought I would not pay attention and mail everything at once or if they had problems - they did not answer email. Now I have new deadbeat on item with almost identical slow mail address, contact info on eBay does not match what bidder emailed to me after auction as far as names - but interestingly has first name same as original deadbeat and addy is a house number apart from old deadbeat?? Just wondering how to tell if two are both same person or not considering so far strong circumstantial evidence.

Hi,
I don't have AOL but since no one else gave this a shot I'll try to help.. I have compuserve which is owned by AOL. I have a mail center in which there is a 'personal filing cabinet' and that's where it keeps all the old e-mail unless you deleted it right away. Hope that helps...
As for circumstancial evidence I would assume it's the same person. I would think that you have a far better chance of winning the lottery than having two addresses so similar. If their contact info does not match either try and question why and see the type of answer you get..
