Just sent a payment to a person advertising that they took C2it, they sent me the end of auction email and I sent them payment threw C2it. Well I get a email a few minutes later telling me that I sent it to the wrong address and I would have to cancel the transaction and send it again to a different email address. sounds easy doesn't it? well you would think so.

You have to call customer support as there is no way to cancel your transaction from their site. Then they can't just reverse the transaction or cancel it and put the monies back on the Citi Bank card I used(it's the same company) they have to send me a check, it's going to cost me 3.00 for the check.

So by the time I get my refund it will probably be over 30 days so it will be into the second billing cycle on the card before I have the monies to put back on the card minus the 3.00. You would think that Auction Watch would check out these people before they partner with them on their site. As bad as it was to have sent it to the wrong email address it shouldn't take this to reverse the transaction.

I'm not saying to not use the service, just make sure you have the right email address, if your a seller better make sure you send the right email address so you don't get mad customers.

You might get a quicker response if you post this in the C2it forum under AW Partners...

edited cuz "quicker" is not spelled with a "w"...

I don't think anyone from C2it is minding the store at the AW Partners board. Kind of odd considering they are sponsoring this big promo this week....

It's making me think twice... I'll take the free listings and RUN hehe

C2it might attract new buyers, but any buyer used to using Billpoint or Pay Pal isn't going to use a service that costs THEM money when they have a choice, right?
