in answer to my question about why no such site existed someone suggested I check EHAMMER- THis is the perfect site for Antiques and Collectibles ONLY-I've been on line for 3 years - had not heard of them-THey need to do some PR and advertising in the Antique and Collectible trade papers, have handbills at the big Shows and flea markets etc-I am going to give them a try- hope others will too- but EHAMMER has to let the buyers know they exist only for the antiques and collectibles market-

I also use Old and Sold. http://www.oldandsold.com I think it is one of the nicest antiques and collectables site on the net.
I also like eHammer, but they have a way to go yet as far as advertising and attracting visitors.
HoweverI think the best site that I have come across to date (and I hope I'm not being promotional as I found the site here on Auction Watch by checking the other auctions forums) is Carnaby. http://www.carnaby.com
They seem to be going the extra mile to promote the site and there are a lot of new and innovative ideas there. I really hope it succeeds.
