Recently I changed the format of my auctions. (I use Auctiva poster.) Afterwards,I found that Mr. Lister bulk upload was not launching my auctions. Instead it gave me this error message:
"Auction created on another site.
The auction you are attempting to list was not created on this eBay site.
Please submit the auction to the site on which it was created.
This may have been caused by using an outdated sell your item form."
By trial an error I found that the main change I had made, and the thing that was causing this problem was that I had added a link/email address.
There are actually two issues here. One is the problem with mr. lister. The other is whether we are "allowed" to enter our email address as a link, given the restrictions ebay has been placing on direct member contact, and also on links in general.
(By link, I mean using the HTML "MAILTO" code.)

Hi - I use MrLister, and include an email link in the description section of all my auctions - I have not had any problems.

Thanks for the feedback. It must be some combination of using the address/link and my
auctiva software and Mr.Lister. (It doesnt
happen when I upload an auction directly, still using my auctiva software, but bypassing Mr. Lister.

carsonbooks: If you have a look at the Mister Lister Discussion board over an eBay, you'll see other people posting messages regarding the "Auction created on another site" error. I don't know if they got a resolution or not, but at least you'd have some company.
