I know there have been various postings about stolen photographs but I just can't believe this one. I was browsing through the items in the category in which I most commonly sell. I'm just looking to see how various things are selling. I then come across someone selling the same items as I do. Not a problem until I scroll to the bottom of the page...
There I find the banner I use at the top of my auction pages. This is not an item photo but the banner that I head all my auctions with. Wait for it... here's the best part. This idiot didn't even take my user name off of it!
I couldn't believe my eyes. I checked to see if he was pulling my picture from my own hosting account but he wasn't. Dang. I could have had fun with that. He didn't even bother to change the name of the file.
So, I wrote an email to ebay informing them that this person is using this image without permission and they shouldn't have any problem identifying that it is mine since it has my user ID across it. I then also informed them that as a result this person is fraudulently using my registered corporate name as well as the logo, which is trademarked.
I then sent the rocket scientist a message that he has until 12 noon tomorrow to get the image off his hosting account.

If I were a Christian, I'd say that the Lord poured this guy's brains in with a teaspoon--and someone jiggled his arm...
edited to put an "o" where it would do the most good.

Surely he'd had one too many when he was busy stealing that -
There is at least one semi-regular poster to a couple of boards I lurk on, who I think drinks a bit too much while he posts. You know how someone drinking gets that attitude that he's so smart, while he makes a complete a$$ of himself?
