I have had the pleasure of having my first Brimfield experience in May and then again in July. Tell me...Are there any deals? I didn't find any.

I guess it depends on what type of stuff you are looking for and what you consider to be a "deal".
If you are looking for highly collectible items and expect to be able to resell them on eBay for 10 times what you bought them for, you're probably going to be out of luck. I've always been able to find good stuff at fair prices, however. To me, a "deal" is finding a nice old pocket watch worth as much as $400, and only paying $250 for it. It's a great way to add to my collection without paying through the nose. But if I went to Brimfield solely looking for "bargains" to resell on eBay at a significant markup, I'd probably be very disappointed.
Regards,
Barry

I was there 2 years ago and found about a dozen items that I thought were a good buy. Most I could double my money, the prices ranged from $20 (sold for $295) to $375 sold for $795. A fellow collector buying the same type of items said he didn't see any bargains that faire on our newsgroup, another commented yes because Darrell got there first.
But the items I buy are a small niche market so it's a buyers market at Brimfield for me.

There are always bargains everywhere, because no one dealer knows everything about everything he sells.
In July at Brimfield I bought several old books from various dealers (inside fenced areas!), not paying over $5 for any.
One is over $50 as we speak, the others will go on later.
But the secret is that you have to know your subject.
