I recd an email through what must be ebays email 'system'....when a viewer has a question for the seller; as my email address is not in my auction descriptions anywhere.

The person asked several questions but nowhere in the email does it tell me which item they're asking about! I've got several auctions running right now and these questions could have been for several of the items. There's no auction number, and no auction item title anywhere in this email. Is this kind of weird of is it just me?

That is odd. Every time I receive one, the subject line always reads:

"Question for seller -- Item #1234567890"

I think the sender has the option to change the title - which would remove a key piece of information, I agree..

I think this happens when the bidder clicks on your user name to contact you instead of the "ask the seller a question" link.
