OK, there are only two more days to sign up for the eBay's trial store period, and I can't figure out what to do! I ask the store users, what do you recommend? Any change in sales? More trouble than it's worth? (This is the direction I am edging towards...) Any ideas will be helpful!
Also, I know there was some talk about how it was hard to tell the difference between auction items and store items. Any changes made towards this? Or am I dreaming? (ha ha)

Well, after 29 days of nearly nil sales in my initial 40-odd 30 day store listings, I got 8 sales during their last 24 hours of life. So I decided to launch another round of 30 day listings.
I can't see that eBay has made any changes or is promoting the stores any differently than before. But free is free, and any sale helps. I will probably not continue as a paid user unless I see some significant sales increases this goround.

My next question is, do you go through the same process to list an item? Is it like a regular auction except for 1) A set price and 2) A 30 day run? Same amount of work involved, right (as far as descriptions go?)

I use mister lister and it was the same amount of work as before. I couldn't speak to the eBay form, I try to avoid those wherever possible.

I had my store open for about 3 weeks, I think I made 2 sales in that time. I have just closed my store the other day - and I'm working on my own "storefront" with thumbnail pics of everything right from my own website. Ebay's stores IMO are totally useless.

I have had my Ebay store for a month and sold 4 items, I also feel it is a waste of my time I would rather pay the fee and have my item on Auction, because if someone goes to your store its a miracle!
I won't be using it anymore, Having the store is like if you opened a Store
and picked a location on a side block just to pay low rent, who would see you there? Not many, so you would spend money on advertising so you could get know, well Ebay is the same as that, except they don't Advertise for business,
they will be collecting the fee, and that's there concern.
I would rather be were it is busy and pay for the location.
