Hey I got a weird one. I got a nastygram from a disgruntled buyer on an auction, saying he had already written to PayPal and ebay and was about to give me negative feedback. One problem: This was NOT one of my auctions! I had sold him something earlier this month and successfully concluded the transaction--It was sent to him. I think he's confusing two sellers here.
What do I do if he doesn't get the message and sends negative feedback anyway? He says he already paid thru PayPal and nothing shows up in my account. Do you think this will just work itself out--I'd hate to see my 233 positive feedbacks pick up an undeserved (and very first) neg.

Just email him, tell him to recheck the item number...he should be able to tell which item it is, and realize it isn't yours...unless they are the same! If he post neg to the correct item number, it wont go on your account anyway

Also, if he already left you feedback on the other transaction, then on the item number he is talking about is not yours, he can't give you feedback, Ebay won't accept it since he was not the high bidder.
