What would you do in a case like this: I sold an item and emailed the buyer. She said she would pay with PayPal. I waited a week and no payment, so I emailed again and told her to be sure the payment went to the right person. She said she was confused about my email address. I said either email address would be fine. Still no payment. I waited another week and contacted again. She said she made an error and the payment was unclaimed. I have waited still another week after giving her clear instructions. I think she is a deadbeat. Should I relist?

Have her cancel her "attempts" and just go in to PayPal and REQUEST a payment from her. That way YOU put all the info in and if she pays it, you have your money and if she doesn't then consider her an "unwilling" business partner and re-list.
I have found when someone is "confused" about PP, it just works easier for me to do the work for them...

Thanks, sulyn1950. I should have thought of that, but I never had to have PayPal send a request for payment as most buyers are more familiar with it than I am.

Well, I sent a request for payment through PayPal yesterday and still no response. I doubt that I will collect on this one. I'll wait another day or two then relist. Thanks for all your help.

Sorry this happened to you. On the upside (if there is one), you can't be accussed of not going the extra mile to accomodate your buyer!
