If I remember correctly, Fed-Ex account holders who pay with their AMEX get a 10%(?) discount on the shipping rate.

correct, american express small business gold cardholder who uses the card to ship via federal express gets a discount,it is automatically refected in am exp statement.
but federal express is most expensive of all carriers,it also gets tricky with international shipment, discount only applies to priority shipment.
not sure if this rule also applies to ground shipment.
check rates carefully before leaping in,i ceased using am exp/fed exp because it is just too costly despite discounts.
as for paypal & american express,i dont recall paypal accepts am exp charges, may be paypaldamon can answer this question better.
interesting note-if any of your supplier does not accept american express, call american express and they will talk to your supplier for a sweet deal!!??

What about Corporate Cards by AmEx?? My Employer is planning to transfer the entire Companies CC Portfolio to AmEx. That means a Corporate Card for me and everyone else.

dont know about corporate card, sounds like a sweet deal for you .
ask american express and find out.
also other goodies for american express small buisiness gold card is a 2 % discount from mobil when you fill gas there .
but we dont see too many mobil gas stations here.fed exp is expensive no matter how you slice it!!!!!!!
they also like to leave package at your door as most of their clients are businesses and they are open from 8-5 so leaving at the door is fine .
